Prosthetist, Senior Prosthetic Consultant
Stephen is an HCPC registered Prosthetist who joined RSL Steeper in 1990, qualifying in 1987. He has experience in both upper and lower extremity prosthetics but with a particular interest in upper extremity, managing a specialist clinic for nine years. He has extensive clinical management experience and held a number of senior roles at Steeper Group, including heading the Research & Development of the bebionic hand
Stephen has been a training officer mentoring students for a number of years and has also been a lecturer at Salford University where he undertook postgraduate research. He also has a special interest in computer aided design and technology advancements, being a founder member of the CADCAM group for the RSL Steeper group.
He joined The London Prosthetic Centre in August 2014 and has been focusing on Upper Limb clients at the Centre.
