Vikki Bradley - Rehabilitation and Performance Therapist
Rehabilitation and Performance Therapist
Vikki has been working in the health and fitness industry for 13 years, and for the last 9 years has specialised in functional injury rehabilitation. She has extensive experience working with athletes of all levels from a variety of different sports, including rugby, hockey and running.
She has spent over 5 years working with the MoD, 3 years of that spent in the Complex Trauma Ward of DMRC Headley Court in Surrey. Here she worked with amputees and other trauma patients on a daily basis, working from early stage tasks right through to late stage fitness and skills. Working right through the spectrum allowed the patients to achieve a fitness and function level close to that of pre-injury, and also helped them discover new goals to work towards, with some of the patients aspiring towards the Paralympics.
She also has an MSc in Biomechanics from Roehampton University, with a thesis focused on the analysis of running biomechanics of a new design of multi-purpose running blade. In addition, she is also a visiting lecturer at St Mary’s University, lecturing to under-grad and post-grad students on The Rehabilitation of a Complex Trauma Patient.
